Process & Quality
Our Activated Carbon Technology
How we activate, test and control quality — so every grade performs as specified.
Activation Methods
Steam Activation
Physical activation with high-temperature steam develops a strong micropore network — ideal for water treatment and gold recovery. Every batch is tested against its specification sheet before release.
Chemical Activation
Phosphoric acid and KOH activation produce high-surface, mesoporous carbons for decolorization and gas-phase applications, graded and verified per batch before shipment.
Impregnation & Specialty
Silver, sulphur, alkali and oxide impregnation tailors carbon to target H2S, mercury, ammonia and other specific contaminants.
Quality Control & Testing
Iodine Value
Indicator of adsorption capacity, measured per batch and reported on the certificate of analysis. Ranges are graded by application — see each product page for standard values.
Hardness & Abrasion
Mechanical strength verified so the carbon survives backwashing, regeneration and handling.
Ash, Moisture & pH
Physical and chemical parameters controlled within specification for each application.
Certifications
Every batch is tested for the parameters on its specification sheet — iodine value, hardness, ash, moisture and pH — and shipped with a certificate of analysis. Additional certifications and third-party testing (e.g. SGS) can be arranged on request.
